The US entryway of a cross border tunnel is pictured in this undated handout photo taken by the DEA in San Luis, Arizona.

A handout picture provided by AFN shows view of the entrance of an unfinished tunnel in Tijuana, Mexico, that connects with San Diego, California, United States, on 12 July 2012. The 'narcotunnel', is 1m wide, 170 cm high and 150m long, was being built 10 meters underground and was discovered 11 July night by the Mexican army, some 200m from US border. The tunnel, assumed to be used for the smuggling of drugs and illegal weapons between the two countries, fell around 60m short of the border.
