Performance artist Alice Newstead is suspended from a scaffolding by two shark fishing hooks, in a bold stunt not for the faint-hearted, to encourage the Hong Kong public to pledge to refrain from eating shark fin soup, Hong Kong, China, 14 June 2011. The performance kicked off a week long art exhibition dedicated to shark conservation, and will feature the works of several local and international artists and photographers - all dedicated to wiping out the trade in endangered shark species. Hong Kong lies at the centre of the unsustainable shark fin trade.
