Pilgrim Tomas Joglar Sosabravo, 74, drags stones along an avenue as he heads towards El Rincon church, 18 km away in Havana, 16 December 2007. Thousands of pilgrims gather annually in El Rincon church to fulfill promises to Saint Lazarus both for Christians or Babalu Aye--worshippers of the Afro-Cuban religion. Most pilgrims supplicate for health and prosperity.
