Bangladeshi labourers carry baskets of sand on their heads on the bank of the Turag river, on the outskirts of Dhaka, 24 October 2007. Thousands of labourers from the countryside work in the capital from dawn to dusk for a daily wage of no more than Taka 80 (1.15 US Dollar), earning a livelihood for their family.
