Burned trees..
Burned trees are reflected on Kaiafas lake, near Pyrgos in southern Greece's Peloponnese peninsula, on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007. The 200-hectare beauty spot, was one of the last remaining vestiges of a huge forest of stone pines that once covered all of the western Peloponnese. The entire forest was gutted in wildfires that swept through much of southern Greece last month, killing 64 and causing record damage to forests, olive groves and scrub.
