New Zealand's Jo Aleh heads out to sea to compete in the Laser Radial sailing medal race, 23 August 2007, in Qingdao in eastern China's Shandong province during a pre-Olympics test event in which Aleh won silver. Beijing has been hosting a series of test events since 08 August to mark the one year countdown to the 2008 Olympic Games, with sailing events taking place in coastal Qingdao, where a brand new marina has been built for the Olympics
