Dead animal carcasses are seen in the countryside near Ulan Bator, Mongolia, on Monday, March 8, 2010. The UN says people in western Mongolia may face starvation due to an event know as dzud, where a dry summer is followed by a harsh winter, which is limiting grazing and killing livestock.
