Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities ....

A team of Egyptian and European archaeologists has discovered two large statues of Amenhotep III who ruled Egypt some 3,400 years ago, the country's archaeology chief Zahi Hawass said Thursday

Egypt's chief archaeologist said Sunday, March 22, 2009, that an official request will soon be filed with U.S. authorities to return the wooden coffin which belonged to a member of the 21st Dynasty, which ruled over Egypt from 1081-931 B.C.
