Egyptian conjoined twins Hassan (L) and Mahmud (R) are seen at the National Guard hospital in the King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh on February 27, 2009. The Twins will undergo a separation surgery on February 28 that is expected to last for 15 hours and will have eight phases with a 70% success rate. King Abdulaziz Medical City has become internationally acclaimed for the separation of conjoined twins. Hassan and Mahmud will mark the twenty-first separation to take place.
