Spanish galleon Santa Margarita about 30 miles west of Key West, Florida

The chalice was discovered Tuesday, June 24, about 30 miles west of Key West by Blue Water Ventures salvors during a continuing search for a 1622 Spanish galleon shipwreck off the Florida Keys. Salvors estimated the value of the chalice at at one million US dollars or more.
