Opera group performs its "Donghuang melody" ..Syrian Opera House


The Chinese Kangsu Orchestra and Opera performs its "Donghuang melody" late Wednesday, Apr. 2, 2008 in the Syrian Opera House in Damascus. The Kangsu Orchestra is considered one of the best orchestras in China. It has presented some 200 Chinese operas in over half a century. Its musicians have been invited to play in a number of countries around the world. It was inspired by tales and stories found in Donghuang Grottoes carvings 1700 years old, which have worldwide historical, cultural, traditional and artistic value.
