Protesters gather in the center of Makati City, Metro Manila, February 15, 2008. Thousands of people rallied in Manila on Friday calling for the resignation of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as yet another corruption scandal heated up.

Huge protest had been called to demand Philippine leader's ouster over fresh claims that her husband and a political ally tried to gain millions of dollars in kickbacks from a telecoms deal with Chinese firm ZTE.
