Mike Martin displays Panasonic's one-inch thick plasma HDTV at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas 08 January 2008. The 50-inch display will go into production in early 2009 and is expected on store shelves by the end of 2009.
A Tele Atlas mapping automobile is on display at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, 09 January 2008. The car is equipped with eight regular cameras, one fisheye lens camera, two lasers, GPS satellite and other equipment which photographs roads, streets and signage and also measures road angles and slopes. Tele Atlas is a Netherlands-based company which delivers digital maps and other dynamic content for navigation, including personal and in-car navigation systems.
