Akha hill-tribeswomen are given ballots at a polling station in a remote Thai village bordering Myanmar in Mae Aye district, 900 km (660 miles) north of Bangkok December 23, 2007. Thais voted on Sunday in a general election meant to restore democracy after last year's military coup but which is unlikely to heal Thailand's deep political divisions.
