Abulkalam Shamsuddin, professor of pathology at the University of Maryland's School of Medicine, poses for a portrait in front of a slide presentation showing his research into the treatment of cancer with the IP6 compound at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Centennial Conference in Singapore, on Monday, Nov. 5, 2007.
