Thousands of fish died in the Kuta coast because of "red tide" phenomenon, Balinese head of Sea and Fishery Services Ida Bagus Wesnawa. Red tide is a natural phenomenon caused by algae blooms of reddish-brown phytoplankton (microscopic algae) in the sea, often in coastal waters
