Peruvian archaeologist Nacho Alva points part of what is supposed to be the most ancient mural painting in America 10 November 2007 in a temple in Chiclayo, more than 1000 kms north of Lima. According to the results of the radiocarbon analysis made in United States the painting is 4,000 years old
