A resident of Tocopilla, 1,700 kms north of Santiago, walks in front of a destroyed building Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, after a 7.7-magnitud earthquake hit the area Wednesday, killing at least two people, injuring over 150 and leaving 1500 homeless. The government sent hundreds of portable homes to the region, tons of food, water and medicine and set up a military hospital after the local one was badly damaged.
