la..mana ...

Local men rest on a cart at the animal market in Kashgar, about 3,200 km (1,988 miles) north west of Beijing, May 20, 2007. The Sunday animal market is very popular for Uighur, Han Chinese, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Pakistani and Afghan men buying and selling lifestock including, goats, camels, cattle and mules. Once one of the world's main commercial arteries, the Silk Road still holds an immense attraction for the thousand of travellers who now chart its course in search for adventure rather than trade.
